Operation
You use the telescopic hand crank to control the gear more smoothly.  It is impossible to roll up the fabric incorrectly because of the built-in end stroke.  The supporting legs are easily set using the Quick Lock System (1).  The Quick Release system ensures an easy release of the support legs.

What is completely new is that you can set the awning angle in advance!  Is there an open door in the way or is it difficult to reach the supporting legs?  By simply adjusting a bolt on the retractable arm fixture points, you set the required angle.

Construction
The Thule/Omnistor 8000 is an extremely strong awning.  The awning box is higher and wider and the front profile consists of one part so that sagging is reduced.  The retractable arms are 5mm wider and provide perfect fabric tension.  To guarantee this fabric tension, the retractable arms are fitted with integrated arms which slide out automatically when fully open and which can be locked!

The front profile is fitted on both sides with a safety lock so that the awning stays securely closed during driving.  When the device is opened, these locks open automatically with a slight click.

Comfort
A revolutionary and futuristic feature is the provision of cable channels for 12V cables in the front section, retractable arms, and awning box.  The awning of the future will undoubtedly one day be fitted with all sorts of accessories such as led lights, loudspeakers, aerials, or electric insect catchers (in development).

The front section is fitted with a drainage system which disposes of water and waste and is easy to clean due to its shape.

You can store the handle with the two supplied clips and you can put the supporting legs on the ground or in holders on the wall.
